World-leading consultant peripheral nerve surgeon
Background
A neurosurgeon by training, Mr Sinisi graduated from the University of Milan in 1997, before completing his training at Milan’s Institute of Neurosurgery.
In 2002 he was appointed to a permanent consultancy at the Carlo Besta Neurological Institute of Milan, a centre of excellence among neurosurgical centres in Italy. While there, he was the lead surgeon for the development of treatment for surgical disorders of peripheral nerves.
In 2004, Mr Sinisi was appointed consultant at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) in Stanmore, where he still works as the Head of Department of the Peripheral Nerve Injury (PNI) Unit.
Mr Sinisi also holds the post of Honorary Associate Professor at University College London. His work has been published internationally, with more than 40 nationally and scientific papers/presentations to his name.
